Istanbul is on a date with the Turkish-Saudi Business and Investment Forum

Turkish-Saudi relations have been witnessing a great momentum since the meeting of Turkish President "Recep Tayyip Erdogan" with Crown Prince "Mohammed bin Salman" last June, in the capital Ankara.

 

Through a statement issued by the Turkish Council of Foreign Relations, the statement explained that Istanbul will host the Turkish-Saudi business and Investment Forum and that the forum will be held on December 21 and 22, with the participation of senior Turkish and Saudi officials, businessmen and investors, headed by Turkish Treasury and finance minister "Nurdin Nabati" and Saudi Investment Minister "Khalid al-Falih".

 

The forum aims primarily to take strong steps to reach the goal of bilateral trade volume of 10 billion dollars, and for the Turkish private sector to take a major role in the mega projects that will be launched by Saudi Arabia in the scope of its Vision 2030.


On the sidelines of the forum, sessions and seminars will be organized to discuss new cooperation opportunities in bilateral trade, investment opportunities in Turkey and introducing the Saudi Vision 2030 and giant projects in the kingdom.


Seminars will also be held on the future of construction and real estate, taking advantage of regional opportunities and innovation in the agriculture and food sectors.
